this is a new entry just to prove that i'm not dead yet.

and to tell any interested parties that i'm going back to camp yet again this summer because the title "horsemaster" is just so darn cool.

oh ... and 5 more days of classes ... three finals ... a few more work hours to earn some gas money ... and i graduate! on sunday may 7 ... with a dual bachelors degree in animal science and pathobiology & veterinary science. almost makes me sound smart.

like whoa.

what's the deal with people getting engaged?

my roomie of the year 03-04 has this really nice ring now. changed the boy's title from b/f to "fiance." its a much nicer word, i think. sort of fancy sounding. lots of french words are fancy sounding. like ... francais! and emile, the boys name. i like that name. it sounds like someone nice. a huggable name. first heard it in high school when we put on "south pacific" the musical. now that was a long time ago ...

i want a fiance. they're so much more of a sure thing than a boyfriend. not that i have one of those, either.

i really need to do something productive. i have way too much free time on my hands. maybe i'll go running. haven't done that in a while ... yeah, not since high school. i sure did a lot in high school ... why don't i have a life now? isn't college supposed to be more eventful and fun and exciting than high school? you're supposed to be busy all the time doing either hard work or really fun nothingness, gain a lot of close life-long friends, find a significant other and get engaged to them, and have a career when you're done. i'm not doing so well.

too bad winter break is over. no more months of doing nothing for me ... it was great. i laid around the house, or skied down mountains, or slept in really late, stayed out really late, watched movies with friends, went ice skating, went sledding, sat by the fire until my pants were (almost) on fire themselves ... played cards ... and shot people with finger rockets. ok i didn't really shoot them ... i got shawn out by throwing a couple at his face ... but it was still fun.

when i get home in may, the free time will be over. i'll have to get a job ... fast. cause i'll be living at home. still. cause i can't move out without a job. or roomies.

well this is getting depressing, so i'll stop now.

i need a job for next semester. any ideas?

i've just finished reading my 9th novel by c.s.lewis ... in the past two weeks.

and today i got an email that made me very very happy.

what an exciting life!

Jrod2220: i dont like the uconn uniforms
Jrod2220: but i'll route for them anyway

yay for football. fun game. we beat syracuse into the ground. it was sweet revenge for last year. however ... it rained. and rained. ... and rained.

so we were wet. and now there are several pieces of my nice wool band uniform draped over various parts of my room, drying. wet wool smells like wet dog.

SneZZZer: it be a good story to say you got credit for taking off your pants.

there's a story behind that, too, but i think its more fun to leave it as it is.

titaniumpirahna: yes
brassisbetter: shoot.
